Instructions

The model on the left shows an actin subunit (cyan) and its bound ATP (space-filling). Click on the axes buttons to show the coordinate system, of which the z-axis is the filament axis. Then click the buttons to show how subunits above, and below the cyan, in the same and the other strand, are related. Click the radiobuttons to show latrunculin bound and free actin. The "Manipulations with Mouse" button explaisn how to manipulate the model.
